Riserva Chianti Sangiovese Blend

Loved the "saltiness" of this wine. Pairs very well with beef. Eat a handful of salted mixed nuts and enjoy the fruitiness this wine has to offer. I would buy this again.

Friday's selection. Fruit meets soil. Very earthy on the nose and fruit on the finish. Enjoyed.

2/2024. Medium bodied. Easy to drink.

This is brick-ish on the eye, definitely shows age. Complex nose of cherry compote, wet dirt, and humid tobacco leafs. The palate is full with red fruit and bright acidity, earthy-ness, low alcohol, and a soft tannic medium finish. Who would have thought you could find these wonders on bargain wine. Cheers.
