Old world style Syrah; on the nose brings aromatics of red and black/brambly fruits, black licorice, red currant, leather and herbs. The palate is silky with structured tannins, while notes of leather, dates and subtle red cherries flood in. Short, dusty finish isn't anything spectacular. I can appreciate it, I just don't love it.
