Walla Walla Valley for this vintage thinly to moderately extracted purple in color, good clarity. Funk in nose with floral (germanium?) note. Tutti frutti, jammy and candied fruit flavors in mouth. Slight seed bitterness, astringency in front of tongue in finish, later spearmint and anise flavors emerge. Tasty, fairly cheap here in WA state, a no-frills local red to open after the good stuff. Decent if you can get past the funk, which does persist

So I used a stinking glass... (shades of the Treasure of Sierra Madre) Inky dense purple red. Funk and strawberry notes in nose initially, more fruit over time. Berry and spearmint flavors in mouth, buttery lactic finish. Light astringency in aftertaste. Cheap but good everyday red to sip while the lasagne bakes in the oven, or whatever else is out to roust you...

Really nice, easy drinking Grenache. Straddles the line between big and ripe but also lighter. Good QPR.

“We don’t need no stinkin glasses!”. Nice wine, simpleton, drank with baby back ribs, easy drinking, medium minus acid, porch pounder, wouldn’t leave these hanging around too much longer...time to chug them. Throw it in a Perrone and have a party

This is a great wine for $14.99 retail. Declassified bulk juice mostly from The Rocks with some Snipes Mountain, it's not labeled Walla Walla but Columbia Valley instead. Peppermint & Strawberry.
