Dark ruby color with tawny rims. That's the extent of the notes as the first whiff suggests a very corked glass of wine. Still, I dug into this a bit as I love this producer, the vintage and the bottling... there is some great underlying fruit and structure remaining in this, but the corked notes unfortunately grew and grew. Bummer.
