Red fruit, good focus, needs some time to shed dome baby fat. Vanilin oak and a touch of alcohol still present.

Big red raspberry with a hint of spice. Well balanced and structured, particularly for the price. I'm going to purchase another bottle to enjoy.

The couple of extra years have done this well. Smoky, floral, and just starting to develop the animal mustiness that I love in developed red Burgundy.

Best showing of this yet. A nice, pleasant funk on the nose along with cherrywood, asphalt, and dried herbs. Bright, tart cherries, miatake mushrooms, and salt air. Very complex and instantly pleasing.

Really nice Marsannay. A damp funkiness on the nose which mellowed after about an hour of air time, turning more to dry autumn leaves, wild berries, and spice. Black and red plums on the palate are followed by warm spices, a pleasant earthiness and nice acidity. This will do well with another 5 years of age.

Wet barnyard nose. Soft black plums very round red fruit well balanced with elegance of a true premiere cru at the village level. Stunning wine!
