This needed a little time to open up. A little reserved at first but came along nicely. A little lighter than I would have expected from a Napa red blend, with red fruit and pepper/spice. Some vegetal notes too.

Too much alcohol and heavy fruit for me. Good for something more close to a dessert wine. If you love big, juicy, overpowering wines from California, this is done well.

Very dark crimson. Slightly green notes, but add complexity. Cedar and dark fruit. Plum, black cassis and sweat saddle. Round finish with fruit backing
