Classic Renaissance nose of cherries, cassis, leather and herbs. Palate is drying slightly but still incredibly elegant. Time to drink up but this wine has had quite an arc , and in its heyday was truly great. Maybe not quite at the level of @Pooneet K ‘s Monte Bello from tonite but in the conversation IMO!
