Rémy Martin
1738 Accord Royal Fine Champagne Cognac

Exceptional cognac. I have had Louis XIII and this is comparable. Made by the same house (and served in the same glass). This is a cognac for people that love cognac, refined and delicate with a strong backbone. Beautiful!

Best mid tiered cognac, really elevates cocktails, very smooth. Classic cognac flavors

1738 is a fantastic good time, smooth with lots of complexities. Very enjoyable time with Hervé at Proper Hotel.

Smooth. Dark fruit, oak, some pepper. Great cognac at a reasonable price.

Beneath the spicy note is some meaningful oaky note, fermented sweet radon, and powerful acidity. Very smooth cognac. She shows her major flavors in a straightforward manners.

This past weekend I tried the 1738 from Rémy Martin at our local tasting bar along with several whiskies. This was a surprise for me as I wasn't expecting quite as nice a cognac as it turned out to be. My only concern was the pricing at the LCBO, which as per normal, is astronomical. :( oh well, maybe I will find it on my adventures in the US or elsewhere!
