Super pretty and fruit driven. Soft, feminine, and very Beaune. Nice now. Drink now.

Aromas of moist earth, forest underbrush and crushed stone. High notes of perfume...campfire smoke and spring flowers. Vibrant acid backbone intertwined with red berries, spice and minerals. Gorgeous balance and good concentration.

This this was the third wine served this evening . Great burgundy. It was just as I expected from a great Pinot. The crown loved it so easy to drink!

Better than the last two bottles I had of this, 3 and 6 years ago respectively. Doesn’t have the acid balance on the finish that I tend to look for, but I’ve come to appreciate the earthy and foresty notes on this in addition to the fruit. Nice pairing with a “French style” rotisserie chicken, whatever that means. Enjoyed.

Last bottle of this we had was nearly 3 years ago. This is in a better place, but honestly still slightly underwhelming. Decanted 2 hours which I definitely recommend. Lots of great cherry fruit and a slightly green herby more powerful style of burgundy that went well with an aggressively seasoned chicken. But the acid is quite lacking which keeps this from being better.

Cedar, woody nose, nice backbone with beautiful dark berry fruit coming through, quartz marble finish...
