Remoissenet Père et Fils
Aux Gravains Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru Chardonnay

More oak influence on opening than fruit. Buttery, with notes of toffee and vanilla at the forefront of the nose. Yellow apples and lemon preserves arrive on the palate, with respectable acidity and minerality. Well made, just prefer my chards a bit cleaner.

Precise & refined as can be. Blossoming yellow apples, zesty green apples, hazelnuts, butterscotch, honeysuckle, & candied lemons. Creamy, rich, & moving. Balanced very well, with a juicy, smooth, and lasting finish. A very enjoyable experience.

Huge and oaky. If you like CA chard and want to get into burgundy this is your entry point.
