2nd label but still pretty classy: tons of character & Left Bank flair: cherries & red currants, cigar box, vanilla, cassis, some herbaceousness, palate was delicious w/red fruit & cassis galore, silky, finely integrated tannins, nice weight and balance. Length on finish is the only giveaway this is not classified growth. Overdelivers for price point. Safeway Steal

deep berry-ish flavour with leathery touch

Dark berries pillowed by a welcoming balance of vanilla and woodiness. Long on the palate and easy to drink. A favorite of the evening, enjoyed with roasted pork.

Possibly over the top

Elegant, with floral notes and rich spice and blackberry flavor. Pairs nicely with beef.

tannin is nice and strong but not badly lasting. opens up in a little while to berry side. cigars. thick bitter cheesey. wow. lits like drinking a good mystery novel

A true Left bank. Medium dry, good tannins to cut though a hearty meal. A bit thin and burning alcohol taste at first but opens up nicely to show more depth. Earthy, pencil led, cigar box, light barn yard.
