Peppery, tannic, leather, dark fruit. Pours very dark purple—no red or even rust. Quite robust. Just a hint of oak mid-palate.

Quite juicy and sweeter than expected. I would have guessed this to be Grenache or maybe Malbec if I tasted blind. Tart cherry and racy with an herbal note. Not much tannin structure but plenty of acidity to hold up the red fruit. Very easy to drink.

Easy to sip on its own or with stuffed shells . Not too fruit forward, a little bit of leather, maybe blackberry (?) definitely will buy again
