Regusci
Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon
Hard to rate this. Quality is apparent as is big appeal for some. Big fruit but silky and Gina of American oak.

Mar 10th, 2017Enjoyed a bottle of this with our friends the Greene's tonight, and evidently it was a popular choice, as I saw at least two other bottles being opened near me.
This Stag's Leap District is a bit different than I expected. The nose was on point (graphite, blackberries), but the taste was more Cherry/sweet tart driven as opposed to a more blueberry and mocha taste I get from other wines from this district. It was a unique wine (nice tannins after getting it some air) and I always enjoy things that are different than expected (assuming in a good way).

Good but different style than other Stag's Leap District wines. This is more cherry, raspberry, and sweet tart with brighter acidity than it's peers that are more bigger dark fruits with velvety tannins.

Jan 26th, 2018This wine definitely needed to breathe a little bit, once it did the tannins appeared nicely. For the price point it is a decent bottle of cab, but not really my cup of tea. Nice, bright cherry and raspberry with a bit of spice.
