Closed with the 2015. I was looking forward to see how The Absurd might age.
This was coravined and I am not sure how long it had been since its first pour. The 15 felt like it either the wine was affected by being Coravain or it wasn’t holding up after roughly 9 yrs in bottle. Since the bottle wasn’t in possession the whole time, I’ll reserve judgment. But somewhat disappointing after have their sensational 2023.

A profoundly pure, powerful and plush wine. It may shut down at some point but it is so juicy, voluptuous and inviting right now. This and the Moonracer, both ‘15s, were my co WOTN and I was caught off guard because I am solidly in the camp of preferring wines with ample bottle age. So damn delicious. Thank you @Juan Mercado for coming to town and sharing these beauties.
