Nicely balanced, red fruit, plums, smoke, graphite. Good mouthfeel. Clearly all the stops are pulled out to make this. Impressive given Virginia has otherwise been short notable wine for quite a few centuries.

Jan 20th, 2020Mildly heady aroma with deep black cherry and violets prominent. Exquisite balance and smooth texture allowing the excitement of the cherry notes to zing but in a deftly warmed manner.,straight through to a light harmonious finish. The maker is clearly aimed toward the beloved Bordeaux style and this affords us the local proximity. One of the best Virginia wines we’ve tried and very exciting to know about.
