I was able to attend another Wednesday Wine Committee this week and it did not disappoint (they never do). As normal, all wines are tasted blind (1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert).
Just another example of why your '13s need to be resting. While good, this was incredibly tannic. Very dry. So much so that my guess was a west coast Petite Sirah. Well balanced bing cherry and cocoa dusted blackberries, but it was closed once it hit the mid palate. Needs at least 5-7yrs.

Limited release #cabernetsauvignon from Raymond. It's a solid cab, luxuriant blackberry aroma, carries through with a sip and some slight spice. It's a little rougher with tannins on the finish than I would like, but a great wine overall.
