Top Notes For
Tom Casagrande

This is very much like a Bourgogne Rouge or Sancerre rouge from a top-tier domaine. Pale color. Very precise nose shows deep, just-ripe, pure cherry, a slight herbal note, and lots of crushed stone, seemingly on the limestone end of the spectrum. Intense but light-footed in the mouth, there’s deep, tart-but-ripe cherry fruit initially, turning savory and minerally on the long finish. Crisp acids. Very nicely done. Thanks to my brother Angelo for the gift!
