1991 vintage, late night Christmas night cap. Took about two hours to get to where in needed to be in the decanter, absolutely worth the wait for this old girl. Lots of life left in this bdx blend from a house known for their zins.

60% M, 35% CS, 5% CF. Merlot-dominated, some green, weedy aromas and flavors, ready to drink, soft with resolved tannins, medium-long finish, I prefer the 1990 Pickberry.

Merlot-based (60%), yet surprisingly VERY structured and tannic, more so than the Cab-based 1990, medium-long finish, I suspect this will always be a bit more tannic than the softer 1990.
