100% Pinot Blanc from 2010, disgorged only in Sept 2018, giving 7y of aging on the lees.
This is quite complex with Smokey aromas, toasted hazelnuts, some ripe pear in the background and the unmistakable aroma of a good, fresh croissant. Crisp & poised with nice depth and small, persistent bubbles. There’s a fun spicy note to the finish as well. This is really serious stuff. Very good indeed.
