2009 Malbec: elegant, wonderful Malbec punching way above its weight. 13 years old and could go longer. Sorry don’t have any more in the cellar. Keeper. Don’t see it in stores here in MA.

Smooth but complex. Tar, raspberry? Little bit of spice.

Recently tasted here and was impressed by the entire lineup. Excellent wines at even better price points. Grab one if you see it. Lots of layers, decent acid and licorice on the finish.

This is a medium/full bodied wine from one of the traditional Bordeaux varietals. The nose was more enjoyable than the palate. Nose boasted of violets, ripe red fruit, cedar and vanilla. On the palate, I found that fruit was much too dark and sour with a finish that really fell flat.
