Ramon Ayala Lete E Hijos
Vina Santurnia Crianza Rioja Tempranillo Blend
Juicy, complex, fights back a little bit. Drank the 2016 by myself over the course of two nights. Good wine for sipping slowly; it’s not smooth or easy to drink but interesting and enjoyable.

Nov 17th, 2017Lacks fragrance. More sharp flavors. Might want to try again since my guests all liked it better than me.

Apr 24th, 2017Started surprisingly funky but developed nicely. Cherries, blackberries, forest floor, licorice, and vanilla. Puckering and a tad warm at the end. Works wonders with spicier Mediterranean food.
