Sonoma Coast Syrah

Muted nose. Never opened up. Very little fruit or spice/pepper that I was looking for.

Lots of tannin and blueberry but not rich so style of northern rhone

High octane and dense. Always look forward to these.

This needs time. A little disjointed right now

Soft and supple

I was a bit disappointed with it but I think with age both Syrahs we tried will develop the complexity and depth that these young ones are still lacking. Ramey does everything so well that they have set high standards, and this one at this time just falls a little short.

Tart, dry, rich with deep berries...great with meat
