Not quite up to the Hillside select but well done. Dark fruit and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. Clearly some rich American oak - and hint of vanilla as a result. Not quite as well balanced as I would have liked - finish was medium length.

2010 Ramey Pedregal Cabernet. Brought by S&C F for dinner at Press. Interesting to drink this after the 1990 Latour. So different, but beautiful in its own way. Beautiful fruit, but what we really commented on was the rich mouthfeel and long finish. Nice treat!
