Nice deep red color and spicy nose. Mellow and tasty, with nice lingering tannin. Brings out the sweetness of the raw almonds I'm eating. I wish it was a tad colder (didn't get it in the wine fridge first) but I like it!!

Nice and full bodied. Fruity, with a hint of smokiness.

At less than $10 this is the ideal bottle of red you're looking to find. Full bodied yet smooth on the palette, this tempranillo is very enjoyable on its own but would also pair up well with chicken cacciatore, a hearty pot roast or the like.

Rating: Delicioso!

This has become a real go-to. Very difficult to find something this solid at $10 and under. Does it give you much to think about? No, but on a Tuesday night, sometimes you’re trying to think as little as possible. I know my Delectable friends have discerning palates (and healthy wine budgets), but if a turn in the stock market has you searching for cheaper swill, take a look-see for this Spanish amigo.

Perhaps the best Tempranillo I have had to date. Fuller body than expected and nice mild tannins. Downside is that it’s still the one-note juice we all know, but there’s a time and a place for this.
