Super tight knit and old school. Needs time and air but has nice bones.

Nov 21st, 2017Needed a quick decant... and after an hour plus this was beautiful. Solid structure without being overly tannic. Earth in balance with the fruit. And a memorable finish.

Oct 9th, 20166/2021. Nice Oak Knoll Cab. Full of flavor and nice on the palate. Paired well with the filet at Hall’s Chophouse.

Jun 14th, 2021Not a bad little wine. Pretty good QPR. The wine pours very dark into the glass. Nose of herbs, stiff oak and red licorice. Enters with youthful sweetness. Definitely quite a bit fruit forward. More tobacco leaf with oregano and rosemary on the mid-palate. Finishes with black cherry, red licorice, tobacco, and stiff oak barrel tannin. I'd be surprised if this one lasted 10 years in the future, but I can definitely see the benefits of holding for 3 to 5 years here.
