Nose & palate give lemon, lime, lychee, & almost-salty minerality. Very nice!

Great acid, slight oxidation, well balanced.

I have decided to have a white tonight and I chose this Chenin Blanc from South Africa. It has a nice honey yellow color. On the nose I am getting lemon, pineapple, new Granny Smith Apples and a hint of minerality. On the palate a good citrus note of lemon, green banana, a very smooth crisp mouth feel, pear and wet river stone. Not at all bad bottle. I do love the Chenin grape when made well. As whites go I rate them right up there at the top.

So amazing: pear, pineapple, strawberry, citrus notes. Smooth lingering finish. I was pleasantly surprised how much I love this, too bad I only got to enjoy one glass as the cork was disintegrated and I lack the equipment (and patience) to filter more than a big full glass.

Not woodsy at all - after the first sip where you may say "hmmm" you'll start to say "wow this is good"....plus it's South African 🎉
