Not showing a ton up front, but with time it's a really charming wine with red cherry, licorice and tobacco. Minimal oak, but the 12.5 alcohol comes through stronger than expected.

Always a Lopez fan, though this was a bit less interesting than I expected. Even after a couple hours it was a bit disjointed - no mid palate and then a lot of oak. But with food this was really quite good.
