Light yellow visually pleasing. On the nose there is oranges, apricots, white flowers and a hint of minerality. On the light side for the palate. I was really looking forward to this wine and it kind of let me down. I tend to really like the Marsanne - Roussane combination and I was hoping to have a good American one. Orange zest, big on the minerality, river rock, tangerine.

Quite nice, dry, brighter acidity then any other M/R I've had.

Bob (Lindquist) always says you need to "buy a case of this Marsanne for now and buy a case for 10 years later". Now I know why.

When young this wine is bright, floral, and refreshing. Like a Sauvignon Blanc without the pyrazenes and cat pee. With age, the fruits turn to baked, and there are distinct notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. You could easily confuse this wine as a Loire Valley Chenin or a Kabinett Riesling.

At any age, this wine is easy to drink. I'd drink it with a tri-tip steak burrito and a good friend that is scare of wine.

From half-bottle. Mostly shut-down. Flashes of classic Marsanne. Hold for another 4-7 years. Really pretty in those glints of openness. Rebuy. Like the upside.
