Nov 16th, 2015Pretty color. Light ruby with a watery rim. Being 55% syrah I would've thought there'd be more savory meaty notes on the nose but while there are some slight notes I get a lot more leather and super ripe red fruits. The palate confirms that with some nice acidity that make me want to drink more and a finish that continues for awhile. Santa Barbara does good Rhone blends, outside of Rhone.

May 30th, 2015Pretty decent nose. Sweet berries, a little sour cherry, some licorice. Pretty light and bright on the pallet. Light color. Perfect for seafood. Not a whole lot of body. A little thin. Some stewed red fruit with a nice pleasant lingering finish.
