Like where this is going. Fresh, alive with its acid profile, moderate weight, really moving into its smokey phase. Tobacco, cigar, meat, crushed violet, sweet licorice, crunchy black cherry and berry fruit. Much more expressive than LBT, much more alluring perfume.

Enjoyed this 2010 bottling at the Ahwahnee Lodge dinning room (Yosemite NP) with rack of lamb and roasted autumn vegetables. Showing great concentration, age, and structure. Cheers to more moments like this one!

Mar 10th, 2016Floral and fresh, almost burgundy like, reminded me of Jasmin Cote Rotie in style. Some anise notes and bright red fruits. Tons of life ahead. Pairing is crucial though, it was amazing with simply prepared lamb chops but got lost on the second day with lamb burgers. Just turned me on to Qupé.
