Plenty of acid. Bright tart fruit (cranberry).m but i sense some darker fruit hiding beneath. Not huge tannins. Meaty. Drank it pretty quickly and probably would have given more air.

This one still has a long road ahead. Hit a sweet spot about 3.5 hours into decanting. Nice now, could be really nice a couple years from now.

The purity here is tremendous. I believe some have called Las Madres the To Kalon of Syrah vineyards, and this may be en pointe! Blueberries and blackberries and other assorted dark fruits. Tannins are moderate and well integrated already! Another @Mike Smith winner!

As others have said, this one needs quite a bit of air. Right up there with the Kenefick Ranch but just a touch below, IMO.
