Lovely. Very much like a Pinot Noir, dried rose petals and herbal aromas together with intense red fruit.

Dark, glass-clinging red purple with near black core. Inviting nose of black plum and blueberry, echoed on the medium full palate, which adds red apple and light oak. Medium tannins. Medium plus acidity. Portugal's principal variety shines in this less common varietal bottling. It looks much heavier than it actually is making it a food-friendly red with enough complexity for lighter cuts of beef but lithe enough for beef-topped salads (which is what I had with it). Drink now through 2030.

From the case we brought home from 2016 vacation. Since we’re skipping Europe during the Pandemic, we’re reliving a vacation from a glass. Fine light aroma bright citrus forward and finishes smooth and sophisticated. Definitely going back to Portugal again when this is over.

Like the flavor of the single Portuguese grape. Full body. Paired nicely with cheese and wine plate that Carlos suggested.

Marco loved this. I got little out of it. The only single grape wine at the tasting. Not worth the $37.

Recommended to pair with prime rib and was excellent - enjoyed experiencing a new grape in a new year.
