Good Portuguese red blend. Made with 60% Touriga Franca and 30% Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo in the Douro), and 10% other grapes. 13.5% ABV. Reminds me of a lighter version of the wines I used to drink in Portugal when I lived there 11-13 years ago. Fragrant and lighter bodied due to the Touriga Franca, with some rusticity. The good thing is it is not a jammy and International as the stuff coming out of Portugal these days, so I give it a higher rating than many might.

Another excellent, underrated Douro wine, pound for pound .... wow. Smooth finish, loved the aftertaste. Tried again , 31 weeks later raised my score from 9.5 to 9.7 for price/quality factor. Even after being open for 2 weeks, wine is still spectacular.
