Ending the year on a high note with a Wednesday Wine Committee appearance. As always, wines are tasted blind. This week, there was 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 2 reds and 1 dessert.
No doubt a port here. Went perfect with honeycomb and a cheese platter. Not hot at all. Very dark in the glass. Cedar and candied blackberries and plums.

A bit sweeter than expected, but it went very well next to our Christmas goose, which had a plum, apple, and pear stuffing.
