A bit funky on its own when first opened, but balances out when aired.

Nice bit larger scaled Alvarinho made with combination of skin contact, wood and lees aging and is shows. Nose and palate is rich with lemon, fully ripe apple, wet stone, hints of toast / oak, slight oxidative note and towards the end also tannins that creep up on your gums. Best around 12degrees as letting it cool more makes the wine flat. Went nicely with assorted sushi
