Nice burgundy color. Arabic incense on the nose. Medium acidity. Dry. Alcohol. Fruity. Berries, chocolate and light pepper. Medium to full body. The more I drink Dao red, the more I like it.

Would drink again.

Jan 22nd, 2017nose shows earth and animal... with a little bit of licorice and black cherry....reminiscent of a cote du rhone minus the big fruit.
flavors of iron/blood, fine earth, ripe plum, black cherry, faint tannins.... wonderful contrast between earth/animal flavors and fresh light body.
