Plummy and friendly, also deep and long. It does not have the mineral intensity of Taylor Fladgate.

What better time of year to open vintage port than after the rich holiday meal the traditional thanksgiving entails. This is plenty dark and not really evolved in aromas but still plenty tasty with pies and dark chocolates. I wish it was either more vibrantly fruity or distinctly savory/mineral.

Cork damaged but the wine not....
Tastes like a good tawny. Nuts, raisins, lush.
