Lovely. Chocolate and berry undertones with a nice black pepper kick. Fantastic with waygu flat iron. The longer it sits out (over 2 hours now), the better it gets. This one is blowing my mind a little bit.

Consensus WOTN in a blind tasting 2012 WA State Cabernets and blends, against some stiff competition. Deep berry fruits with an excellent supporting structure and a killer finish. Surprised that is was 59% Merlot. Incredible juice.

Nice wine. Getting a hint of raisin already but still a lot of complexity to it still. Decanted. Thinking we should drink our other bottles soon. Changing my rating, this really opened up after about 3 hours of decanting. Lots of tobacco notes. Nice wine.

Young but very approachable! The merlot really smooths out the wine.

Why am I such a shitty collector? My friends at Quilceda Creek ship me three cases.... Don't leave it in the cellar and drink it 10 years from now... No... Microwave the wife's ziti and crack a bottle... My God this is good... I could wax poetic; or simply wife... MY FAVORITE WINERY FOR A REASON!!!

What a discovery, as time passed by the wine changed to a better and more sophisticated flavor. I enjoyed it with different plates of food and it held up very nicely. A must to try. Looking forward to try the big boss of this wine.
