10+ years needed on this one before you can start to call it a good wine for real. That said, this wine was great today. 12 years aged.

Not bad. The food pairing matters a lot on this one. It's still got a decent amount of acidity in it considering it's a 6 year old reserva, so pair it with something rich... like an alfredo sauce or something super cheesy. It's a good wine, just not exceptional. It has quite a bit of earthiness to it, and not enough ripe fruit to balance.
