Sep 24th, 2019Nice dark color. Aroma is berries and black plums. Hint of strawberry in the sun. Black molasses and licorice with the pepper and spice. Deep dark forest and something savory. Plenty of tannin, but in a good way. A very enjoyable Syrah from a place I haven’t had it. Another bottle really shows the fleshy, funky nature of this stuff. Just so much more interesting than most CA Syrah these days.
