Just an incredible wine and still one of my favorites. Loads of dark blue fruits, baking spice, vanilla, brown sugar, tobacco leaf. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a fair amount of acid, the finish is long. Just so good - especially after all the Thanksgiving guests have gone!

Nov 25th, 2017I can't say much more than I've said before - these wines are stunning to me and are truly among my favorites. The Panek is slightly more retrained than the Melanson to me but still displays rich and powerful blue fruits, a touch of brown sugar, and baking spice. This is a very rich wine and I love it. 2013 Pulido Walker Panek Vineyard CS. Brought by Daniel to drink for lunch at Il Piccolino. Amazing. Absolutely no hard edges and totally velvety nose and mouthfeel. Such a treat!
