14 October 2016. Cusco, Peru, Baco wine bar and restaurant. Lovely, understated wine. Lots of fruit but not fruity or overpowering in any way. Perfect South American arrival wine.

Ripe red fruit and strawberry nose with light hay. Full-bodied, with muted fruit flavors and minerality. Low acidity and spice, somewhat uncharacteristic for a malbec. Rises on the finish.
