This one tricked me on the nose! Really green, herbaceous aromas, almost sulfuric. I thought I had a Loire Valley wine in hand and was so surprised to experience this old world portrayal in a new world wine! Tart fruit, earthy minerality, dry and delicious!! Enjoyed this wine with The Capital Grille Generous Pour September 2016.

I feel like it’s so tricky to rate this one because as a wine overall, it’s lovely but I feel like it should definitely be more in the Chardonnay category while I do love a buttery Chardonnay, it’s not what I expect in my Sauvignon Blanc; However this is what you will find in this bottle. While I think this is a lovely wine, I would categorize it for a light bodied Chardonnay lover
