Wine #2 of dinner. 93-94. Compared to the cuvee, this needed some air to tame the fruit. But, it’s just got a great nose and pleases with its distinctive palate.

Revisited this to confirm my initial impression as their release ends Thursday. Decided to go long! I really like how they balance power fruit with the olive tapenade.

This wonderfully toes the line between Californian and Australian styles. There is the heft and bramble berry but also the olive bacon fat. A great wine indeed!

We both agreed on the current order.
1) 2015 - loved the nose and round mouthfeel. Drinking nice right now.
2) 2016 - will definitely improve with some time
3) 2014 - more restrained on coravin pour. Needed some air
