One of the best vineyards to combat the symptoms of the warm vintage.

The Italians have been making wine for a couple of thousand years now and they have really gotten the hang of it. If you want one of the more beautifully made wines in the world, this is a great start. Affordable and incredible in complexity, bouquet, and follow through. Great with cheese, pasta, or just hors d'ourves like cheese. Not to be quaffed but enjoyed almost every other way.

After the 1981 Margaux this was perfect, loved the structure and the tannins were "crunchy", with a sexy acidity that puts it in a different level.
