Very tight out of the bottle and even with two hours in the decanter it was a huge wine with lovely tannins and strong acidity - did a great job of cutting through the fat of my steak! Had a very smoky flavor with strong cherry notes. Should age beautifully and I will be patient with my other two bottles.
