All I wanted to drink all night with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella & pizza. Lots of wet earth/upturned soil/underbrush stuff (pastures, orchards, woodlands) happening on the nose. Rich balsamic/tomato paste/umami mid-palate. Baked / dried / brandied cherry finish. Soft tannins. Acid has mellowed out a bit but is still ⚡️

Fantastic wine. Balanced and smooth. 2011 vintage opened in 2018. Does not taste like 14.5%.
