Three bottles in to 2004, the last two were weird. Not corked, but a little nail polish and deconstruction happening. Drink up.

While young, this wine has the elements to be excellent. Strong berry taste, a firm tannic structure, spice and smoke. I think I should put away the other bottles.

Lighter, less fruity, sweet but dry mouthfeel, nice balance and complexity

2013. Plummy when cold upon opening. Then plum recedes as smoke & berry fruit rise. Very light tannins. Good but not for this Winery.

Nice wine. Enjoyed the lighter body and milder red fruit of this wine. A whiff of leather and tobacco on nose and some earth on the palate. Wouldn't really say any floral quality to this Pinot. If you anthropomorphize this wine, I can see describing her as "elegant" and "soft" and "smooth". But did not achieve "sexy" or "seductive" status for me. Second date? Sure. Why not?
