Privato Vineyard & Winery
Tesoro British Columbia Pinot Noir

2020 vintage.
From Thompson River Valley, close to Kamloops , British Columbia.
Not too much forest fires that summer.
Ripe dark cherries with stewed rhubarb and baker’s spices on the nose.
Morello cherries, earthy underbrush and celery stalks.
Well balanced acidity and tannins with a smooth texture and finish.

So many exciting wines to try from British Columbia (and the rest of Canada); this is one of them! Thanks to Eric D for hauling it back from a vacation (& sharing)!

A good Pinot Noir from a small family winery just outside Kamloops British Columbia. Privato is one of our favorite Canadian wineries. It’s been a year since we’ve opened this one. Still approachable a little smoother and smokier than last year. Bottom line just plain good. I’m not sure we can wait another year to pull out bottle of this delightful Pinot Noir. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦

An enjoyable but not spectacular Pinot Noir From a vineyard in its 4th production year offering hints of better wines that will surely come. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦
