Color reminiscent of a jolly rancher. Forest floor/cinnamon on nose. Lean, lean, lean and acidic. Sour cherry on palate. Lacking some fruit. Somewhat intriguing, but definitely light. Good for $7.

Nice earthy nose but doesn't deliver. Thin fleshy mid palate with zero finish.

Light and strangely flavoured. Not your usual Pinot noir. Be aware.

Too light for my preference but won't upset anyone. Easy drinking.

2011. Nose of cherries, pepper, a little fleshy. Crisp acidity, smooth tannins, some heat from alcohol. Medium finish of mild oak treatment.

Quality with finesse whilst being very light. Complete lack of 'winey' textures in some NZ Pinot noirs
